What the rain can do.

A spell of rain turns a Himalayan gorge into a traveler’s delight at the Beas View Guest House in Himachal Pradesh, India. Long distance passenger transports such as the state run Himachal Pradesh Volvo service often stop by this small road side eatery in the early morning hours for a break in its twelve hour journey.

The eatery provides toilets located below a flight of steps to the right of the entrance, hot tea in disposable cups, and on rainy days a misty view of the countryside from its narrow veranda at the back – often crowded with wayfarers jostling for space. Lunch and dinner also makes up the menu for wayfarers stopping by during the later hours.
