History: This Digital Wallpaper features an AI art presentation of king Vadhryasva celebrating the birth of his son Divodasa in Arachosia. Vadhryasva and Divodasa were celebrated kings of the Bharata tribe of the Indo-Aryans, descendants of the people of the Yamnaya culture who migrated eastwards and through the evolutionary phases of the Sintashta and Andronovo cultures reached the Bactria Margiana Archaeological complex before proceeding to the modern day country of India. In hymn 6.61.1 -3 of the Rigveda, the oldest of the canonical Vedas, king Vadhryasva, after having remained childless for many years had prayed to the goddess Sarasvati for a son, and pleased with his offerings, Sarasvati had blessed him with the mighty Divodasa - who had later led the Bharata tribe of the Indo-Aryans into India.
In the digital wallpaper king Vadhryasva can be seen standing knee deep in the Sarasvati river holding his son, Divodasa, with visible happiness. The riverine Saraswati was an important deity for the Indo-Aryan tribes of the Rigveda. She was worshiped as a nourishing river and a celestial goddess. King Vadhryasva can be see wearing a drape style dress made of coarse undyed and untreated wool. His hair is braided and he wears his hair knot on the right side as the rest of his Bharata tribesmen. As a noble and chief, he also wears golden ornaments including necklaces, earrings, befitting his high status.
He has his bow slung over his back, his spear is planted in the river bed and on his waist is an axe and a quiver. The spear, axe, bow and arrow were the historical weapons used by the early Indo-Aryan tribes. On the bank opposite is a herd of humped cattle and goats. Next to the herd is an early spoked wheel Indo-Aryan war chariot with two tethered horses. Cattle was the main wealth of the Indo-Aryan people while the spoked wheel war chariot was a defining aspect.
