Farbound.Net was founded in 2012. The intent was to spread knowledge and encourage exploration to foster a deeper respect of the world we live in and to cultivate in folks a love and responsibility towards the environment, species and humanity.
It was in the 2012 again that the first website of the company was created and the url farbound.net became a unique address in the vast world of the internet. The name Farbound.Net is not one that you'll find in the dictionary. It is a coined name combining the words 'Far' and 'Bound'. Farbound.Net basically means to go far in all endeavours.
Over the years Farbound.Net changed in appearance and what it offered. However, its prime mandate to spread knowledge and encourage exploration remained unchanged. This mandate was at the heart of Farbound.Net and continues to be.
The present stage of Farbound.Net is the final stage of a journey of realizations, setbacks, experience gained and self discovery. A journey that I, the founder and owner of Farbound.Net, undertook and trudged on alone, with no words of encouragement, with low budgets and practically zero funds, and virtually very little support. Those who did support me was my wife with her patience, understanding and kindness and my hosting provider in Gaziabad, who helped me out when the technical difficulties of managing a website got beyond my capabilities.
Farbound.Net today reflects my beliefs, my principles, my approach to life, my individuality, and my spirit. It is me on the internet. Today Farbound.Net is a Sole Proprietorship Company. It is focused in its offerings, more dedicated to its mandate, an independent platform with no tieups with any other organizations or persons and completely self-dependent.
When Farbound.Net started its journey, the site's prime offering was researched stories and snippets, constructed out of facts and findings to not only educate and grow awareness but to also stimulate the intellect and inspire readers to arrive upon a better understanding of past and present events as well as to form informed opinions.
