History: Invented by Fathullah of Shiraz, a Persian (Iranian) courtier, minister and inventor, who lived during the reign of Gurkani emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar. The Yarghu was a cumbersome yet unique contraction used in cleaning multiple midsize cannons, simultaneously. The name Yarghu in old Mongolian meant a court that investigated and punished corrupt officials. Its association with the later contraption, very likely a hint of the Gurkani or Mughal's ancestral ties with the Mongol people, specially Genghis Khan and Timur. To know more see the Farbound.Net snippet: What men could do, Yarghu could do better.
