THE JAL MAHAL
Photographer: Arindam Saha
In the placid waters of Jaipur’s Man Sagar lake, the brightly lit Jal Mahal glitters like a jewel on a polished black surface in this photo by Arindam Saha, a resident of New Delhi, India. Once home to the kings of the land, the eighteenth century water palace located in the middle of the lake is a blend of Rajasthani and late Mughal era architecture, and one of the main tourist attractions in the city of Jaipur. The photo was spotted in ‘The Pixels’, a Facebook page that records Arindam’s journey as a photographer.
