A real life mountaineering ordeal.

Based on the life of lone canyoneer, Aron Ralston.

Motion picture: 127 Hours, 2010.
Directed by Danny Boyle.

In the summer of 2003 when Aron Ralston hiked over the bare rocky terrain of Blue John Canyon, Utah, USA the last thing he expected was for a boulder to smash his right arm and leave him trapped in a narrow confine with 127 hours of pure hell time.

Nominated for six Oscars and highly rated by film critics, 127 hours depicts the real life mountaineering ordeal of lone canyoneer, Aron Ralston in one of the most faithful rendition of an actual event in movie history. Even while being stripped bare of stunts, action sequences and swashbuckling bravado, the human drama both horrifies and inspires at the same time.

Directed by Danny Boyle of Slumdog Millionaire fame and starring James Franco (Spider Man Trilogy and Rise of the Planet of the Apes), the film draws audience into the pain, despair and desperation of a lone man’s fight to simply live one more day. A must for your movie collection.
