History: The skeleton of the middle-aged Harappan woman was discovered in the region of Rakhigarhi, Haryana, India and among the buried ruins of a settlement that is believed to have been built somewhere around 4600 B.C. The discovery of the settlement, now referred to as Rakhigarghi, reveals the Harappans colonized a far greater part of the subcontinent than hitherto thought before.
